Before leaving for five countries to share India’s attitude against terrorism, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said on Friday that the country would not be silent with terrorism.
In a video message posted on X, Congress MP Tharoor said, “I am going to five countries leading the all-party delegation to Guyana, Panama, Columbia, Brazil and the United States, and that is why we are going to speak for the country, we were attacked by terrorists in our country to speak about this horrific crisis.”
He highlighted that the delegation focused on the values that stand for India, for which it is to be preserved in the world today.
Mr. Tharoor said, “We need to speak with clarity and firm belief for our country, and to convey the message to the world that we will not be silent with terrorism and we do not want the world either go away. We do not want democracy, freedom, and hatred, not killing and terror.

Mr. Tharoor will visit the United States, Guyana, Panama, Brazil and Columbia, along with other MPs of Group 5.
The delegation was earlier informed by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri about the agenda of the global outreach, which was being done to present India’s status against terrorism. MP Tharoor mentioned that the purpose of the delegation would be to make India sensitive to India.
“We are meeting government officials, MLAs, think tanks and media and are having public conversations. We are really going to talk and talk to everyone. The whole idea is that we want to sensitize public opinion, parliamentary opinion and legislative opinion in each of these countries.
The all-party delegation will project a firm approach to India’s national consensus and all its forms and expressions to combat terrorism. They will tell the world a strong message of zero tolerance for terrorism.
The delegation LED by MR THAROOR ALSO HAS BJP’s Shashank Mani Tripathi, Bhubaneswar Kalita, and Tejasvi Surya, Along with Ljp (Ram Vilas) Sena’s Milind Deora, JMM’s Sarfaraz Ahmad, Along With Former Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
