Congress MP Shashi Tharoor On Friday, he paid his condolences to the families of four men of Thiruvananthapuram, who were killed in a road accident last week.
They were allegedly constructive construction workers from Kerala, they were in the way of the Velkani pilgrimage.
Congress MP from Thiruvananthapuram Mr. Tharoor met grieving families and posted about his visit on X (East Twitter).
He wrote, “One of the emotional painful responsibilities of an MP of a constituency is mourning for the bereaved people. Last week, he visited the houses of each of the four youths of Neyatthinkara taluka, who was killed in a highway accident on Velkni.”

The accident occurred on 4 May.
According to reports, seven friends from Thiruvananthapuram and nearby areas were going to the Velkani pilgrimage site in Tamil Nadu in a car.
The car allegedly lost control after crossing a barricade and the bus collided with the head-on. The vehicle was affected due to the force of impact.
Police confirmed that four people died on the spot due to the force of the accident, while three others suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
