Qualcomm is expected to launch Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 in the coming months, as its major chipset for smartphones and mobile devices. The details of the successor of Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC have been leaked by a tipster on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. Qualcomm’s second generation of Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip is asked to reach 30 percent better GPU performance on the current model. It has also been tipped to support for LPDDR6 RAM.
Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Performance Reform (Expected)

Tipster claims that these new CPU core will provide 25 percent better performance, when the first generation Snapdragon 8 Elite came out compared with SOC last year.
According to the post of Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Tipster, LPDDR5X and LPDDR6 will provide support for RAM. Smartphones equipped with LPDDR6 RAM may come later this year, with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, and these devices are expected to offer better performances than last year’s model.
The performance of GPU is also expected to see notable improvements according to the tipster. Qualcomm is expected to increase the independent cash of GPU to 16MB (12MB above Snapdragon 8 Elite).
