Officials said on Sunday that a 45-year-old social worker was injured after being shot by suspected militants in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said the militants opened fire on the Dhanu Rasool Magre on Saturday at Kandi Khas on their residence.
Magre was rushed to a hospital, said and said it was not immediately clear why Ultras targeted the social worker.
