Defense minister Rajnath Singh Terrorists, and their handlers have given a warning Pahgam Terror Attack – In which 26 people were killed – earning direct vengeance and declaration of the Government of India will bring all those who hatched a conspiracy against the nation.
“People responsible for such acts will receive a strong response in the near future. We will not only punish the demons who carried out this act of cruelty and barbarism …” he said at a program in Delhi.
He said, “We will also reach those who hid behind a curtain to fulfill this conspiracy. The attackers and their masters would be targeted,” he said that 2.5-hour national security advisor Ajit Doval, Defense Staff and three military heads to discuss the security situation in J&K after meeting.
“Yesterday, in Pahalgam, our country lost many innocent citizens in a cowardly attack by terrorists targeting religion. This highly inhuman act has immersed all of us into deep grief and pain.”
The Defense Minister said, “But we unite in front of terror and India has a zero-optional policy (for terrorism). We will take every necessary and appropriate steps.”
“India is an ancient nation and we will not be afraid of terrorism.”

On Tuesday evening, after the attack, Rajnath Singh said that he was left to “deep pain” from death on X, and “the” intoxication “attack on citizens” was called a task of “cowardice and highly condemnable”.

Shri Modi, who was in Saudi Arabia, when the attack took place immediately spoke and directed Home Minister Amit Shah to go to Jammu and Kashmir and review the situation for the first time.
As he flew back from Riyadh, the PM’s aircraft took a more direct route to Delhi, escaping from Pakistani airspace. On Tuesday, on its flight to Saudi Arabia, the aircraft flew into Pakistan.
Routing again has been seen as a clear indication that India’s security agencies are currently aware of the threat to emerging from Pakistan and for the protection of the delegation on the Prime Minister and the board, decided that it was prudent to change the flight path on the way to the house.
Meanwhile, Mr. Shah left Delhi late on Tuesday night and visited Basaron, the scene of the frightening attack this morning. He vowed to ensure justice for the families of those killed and for the injured.
And Omar Abdullah, the Chief Minister of a fierce J&C, called the terrorists “animals and inhuman”. He also said that the attack was “much larger than anything directed by citizens in recent years”.
Pahalgam’s attack in Jammu and Kashmir since 2019 is the worst attack when 40 soldiers were killed in Pulwama.
