A student of an Indian -origin college in America died in Homas, when she accidentally fell from a hotel balcony a few days before he was set to graduate.
Gaurav Jayasih was a student at Bentley University, Waltham, Massachusetts and was in Bahamas for an annual senior class trip when he died in an accident on Sunday.
Later this week, Jayasingh was designed to graduate.
Bentley University said in a post on X that “It has become difficult for a few days and our community is feeling the emotional toll of the tragic loss of 25 days. Our heart goes out for Gaurav’s family and friends. We plan to honor Gaurav at the undergraduate start ceremony,” has been determined for 17 May.
According to an ABC News report, Bentley University said in a statement that “We share our deep condolences with Gaurav’s family, friends and loved ones. While local officials are investigating, it appears that Gaurav accidentally fell from a balcony.” “We will share more information if we are available, respecting the confidentiality of our family.” Said this.
“This is a very tragedy for our community. Bentley is providing resources for those who are affected and encouraged anyone who needs support to reach the university counseling center,” said this.
The ABC News report stated that Jaisihs, Shruusbari, were native to Massachusetts and Delta Sigma Pai was a member of the South Asian Students Union of the school as well as the school.
The Royal Bahamas Police Force said in a statement that on May 11, the police started investigating the circumstances around the death of an adult man on the island of heaven.
According to initial reports, the police said that around 10 o’clock around some time, the victim was inside his hotel room with other roommates “when it is reported that he accidentally fell from an upper-level balcony. He was later found to be irresponsible on the lower floor.” Police said emergency medical services responded and rushed him to the hospital, but he succumbed while surrounded.
