Sukhoi shot in Poke? Center Fact-Animal Pakistani Publicity

Pakistan -based social media handles are spreading fake news that an Indian fighter Jet was shot and his pilot was caught in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK), the government has warned. The government said that the picture used to support the claim shows a Sukhoi jet which crashed in Maharashtra in 2014.

“Pakistani social media handle is claiming that a Sukhoi SU -30 Emki was shot in Muzaffarabad, an Indian pilot was alive. The Indian Air Force (IAF )’s Sukhoi Su -30 MKI did not have Pune -Ahmad Nagar Highway, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) facts.

Pakistani wrongly handled the information to NDTV. Any such information was never shared by the portal.

Government also shared 2014 report Showing the same photo. The caption confirms that the photo is from a Sukhoi Su -30mki that crashed a decade ago.

The PIB fact investigated another rumor this morning which claimed ATM will remain closed in India For the next two-three days. Marking it as incorrect, the PIB stated that the ATMs would continue to act as usual and outline the need to avoid such uncomfortable claims.

The PIB has rejected several false claims spread from Pakistan. On May 9, between 8 May to 6:30 pm, at least eight viral videos and posts were made by PIB.

These included a viral video of a drone attack in Jalandhar, Punjab, found to portray a fire in a field and recorded before any aerial activity. Another post claimed that an army post organized by “20 Raj Battalion” by Pakistan was destroyed. The Indian Army does not have any such unit, clarifying the government.

False claims included an old video of the 2020 Berut explosion, claiming some users that there were airstrikes in Pakistan, and rumors of a suicide attack on an army brigade in Rajouri were being shared with a misleading video.
