The Supreme Court has criticized the Enforcement Directorate to eliminate its limit during the raid on the liquor shops of Tamil Nadu. The court directed the ED to stop the action in corruption charges.

The Supreme Court was contacted by the DMK-Run State Government and a state-driven marketing corporation in the state provided a monopoly on wholesale and retail-lax trade in the state. He demanded a challenge to an order on 23 April by the Madras High Court Green-Lighting Aid Action in the case.

The alleged Tasmac LIQUR scam has been prepared to next year’s assembly poll, as the ruling DMK and the main protest, AIADMK (and its on-then-fir, BJP).
In an uproar over the allegations, the former state unit chief of the party, BJP KK Annamalai launched a fierce attack on Tamil Nadu Minister V. St.hil Balaji, in which he was called a “Kingpin”.

“I have my sources. I believe (corruption) is more than Rs 1,000 crore. Senthil Balaji is involved in every scam. He is a kingpin. The Supreme Court has questioned (him) …” He announced, referring to the court’s comments about the minister in a separate money laundering case.
Mr. Balaji denied all the allegations against him, accusing the ED of claiming without evidence.
“As far as Tasmac is concerned, everything is transparent. As far as the purchase is concerned … This purchase will be done by calculating the average of the last three months. From the average of the last three years and the purchase of the previous month, the TASMAC will order the purchase order. So, we have not shown any discount when we give the purchase order,” he said.
