Tata Consultancy Services has paid 100 percent of the quarterly variable allowance (QVA) of its workforce for the January -March quarter.
The company clarified that for employees in other grades, QVA payment is determined by their performance of their respective business units, which is in line with the installed policy of TCS.
TCS said in a statement, “We have paid more than 70 percent of the company.
TCS (TATA Consultancy Services) recorded a decline of 1.7 percent in the March quarter, gaining Rs 12,224 crore, which is largely operated by a margin contraction.
It logged in Q4 FY25 a total revenue of Rs 64,479 crore, which was 5.3 percent in the year-old period.
The company added 625 employees in the quarter, exceeding 6 lakhs of its total workforce.
Announcing its Q4 and FY25 earnings last month, TCS said that it would be an annual salary increase for its 6.07 lakh employees due to trade uncertainties arising from tariff issues.
The company’s Chief Human Resource Officer Milind Lakkad cited trade uncertainties to delay annual wages, which was generally set from April. However, he did not give time for when the company would announce the hike.
