Mr. Shah arrived at Srinagar hours after the attack and information was given about the situation of Nalin Prabhat, Director General of Police of Jammu and Kashmir.
He later chaired a security review meeting, in which Lieutenant Governor Sinha participated.

In a post on X, Mr. Shah said that “people working in terror will not be spared, and we will overshadow criminals with harsh results.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also reduced the “heinous act” and vowed that the attackers will be brought to justice “.
“People behind this heinous act will be brought for justice … They will never be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unwavering and it will become even stronger,” he posted on X on Tuesday evening.
