Tecno on Tuesday unveiled its Android 15-based HIOS 15 and listed the new Artificial Intelligence (AI) features that would ship with updates. The company said that its new AI features were objectively with Indian users with capabilities to suit local requirements. The brand also worked with the Indian AI firm Sarvam AI to add Vernacular Speech to its Ella Voice Assistant. Tecno is also offering a new real-time translation, transcription and summary feature for phone calls. However, it did not share rollout date or eligible equipment for HIOS 15 updates.
Hios 15 to bring new AI AI features
In a press release, the Chinese smartphone brand expanded new features, which the users may expect with the upcoming rollout of HIOS 15. Some of these characteristics were earlier shown in last year’s International FunCostelung Berlin. According to Tecno, its new AI features are a “practical, user -friendly devices that bring real value to everyday life.”
The biggest highlight of the new OS skin is the new Ella Voice Assistant. It can now respond to the user in Hindi. Additionally, the company claims that it will add support for Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi and Tamil languages later this year. The assistant is also being integrated with Gemini to enhance its connivance abilities.
Additionally, Tecno is also introducing several new AI features for the purpose of calling. The first AI call is a assistant that can provide a summary of real -time translation, transcription and call. This feature also works with WhatsApp calls. The second feature is AI Auto North that can automatically respond to the call when the user is busy and provides the call summary. Finally, the AI Voiceprint noise may reduce the noise noise.
Tecno is also adding an AI writing and document assistant that can summarize many tasks such as summary, rewriting, or expanding text, and converting handwritten notes into editable term or PDF files. Meanwhile, AI screen awareness is a utility tool that provides relevant assistance based on on-screen materials.
For photo and image editing, HIOS 15 is bringing three new AI features. The first advanced AI is Eraser 2.0 and image is the exterminary that can remove objects from the background of an image and expand parts of an image depending on the voice command. A new AI wallpaper generator can generate custom wallpapers from text prompts and sketches. In addition, AI Charpne Plus is an on-device tool that can speed up blurred photos.
Apart from these, Tecno AI is also bringing a secrecy-centered facility dubbed with AI blurring. It automatically detects personal details in the screenshot and vague before a user shares them.
Apart from AI, HIOS 15 is also offering system-wide support for picture-in-picture (PIP), a redesign dropdown control panel, new transition animation, wallpaper and minimalist icon as well as better optimization.
