Security forces have busted an underground whereabouts used by militants in Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir, thwarting a terrorist conspiracy in the center area, where a frightening attack in Pahgam about two weeks ago left 26 citizens.
Five explosive equipment, two wireless sets and three blankets were found in the hideout during a joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police last evening. A search operation was done to see the presence of terrorists.
Poonch and Rajouri have been at the center of many terrorist attacks and encounters in Jammu and Kashmir over the years.
Hours after the terrorist hideout, the Pakistan Army resumed “unprotected” firing across the Line of Control in Poonach and other areas last night.
