The body of a teenage girl was found hanging from a tree in Delhi Park, suicide suspected


New Delhi:

An official said that a teenage girl was found hanging from a tree in Japanese park in Rohini area of ​​Delhi on Saturday morning.

The girl is believed to be between the ages of 14 and 16, not yet identified. Police said that Prima Feshi, it seems to be a case of suicide.

A senior police officer said, “We are trying to identify him. A name was a tattoo on his hands, which appears to him. We have sent Hue and Cry notices.”

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Amit Goel said, “The body was discovered around 6.45 am when a passer -by informed the Prashant Vihar police station about the incident. A police team escaped on the spot and found the girl hanging with a scarf tied to a tree.”

He said that his slippers were found lying near the base of the tree, showing that he could take them down before the act.

The DCP said that no external injury was seen on the body on the spot.

The region was closed and a crime team and a forensic science laboratory (FSL) team were called to investigate the scene. Police said the body has been preserved in a hospital for post -mortem.

Officials said that a case has been registered and further investigation is to detect the exact sequence of incidents.
