Prayer: I am not sure what to do.
Keeping in mind the increasing demand for the holy water of Triveni Sangam, the Uttar Pradesh government on Friday said that 1,000 bottles have been sent to devotees in Germany in the first international consignment to increase the spiritual essence of Maha Kumbh beyond India.
The UP government said in a statement that from 13 January to 26 February, Grand Shivaragraj Maha Kumbh saw a heavy turnout, in which more than 66 crore devotees used to take a holy dip at Triveni Sangam.
“To increase the spiritual essence of this divine event beyond the festival ground, the Uttar Pradesh government ensured the distribution of the sacred water of Triveni to all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, through the Fire Department,” the government said.
The government said, “Now, this holy water is getting international recognition, already already sent to Germany already.”
After the conclusion of Maha Kumbh, the UP government resolved to give water to devotees across the state as ‘Maha Prasad’, which could not attend the program, noted this.
“However, with increasing foreign interest, the requests have started coming from abroad. Early international consignment – including 1,000 glass bottles of Ganga water – are sent to Germany,” said this.
This shipment was conveniently convenient by Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Awadhashanand Giri’s Shri Panch Dasam Junna Akhara and it is for devotees in Germany who could not make it in pilgrimage.
Rajiv Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) in Prevention, said that the holy Ganges water is being packed and supplied by Jasra to Nari Shakti Mauti Moti Ada Shankul-level committee.
Namita Singh, in-charge of the committee, revealed that the self-help group has already distributed more than 50,000 bottles of Triveni water, including the recent shipment to the Shiv Shambu Group Society in Nagpur. The domestic consignment was sent to 500 mL bottles, while the consignment in Germany was sent to 250 mL bottles.
The fire department supported distribution in all 75 districts of UP. During this ongoing process, the Saint Raja Ramdas of Param Shivam Shiva Temple Yogeshram in Guwahati arrived at Triveni Sangam with a private tanker from Assam.
According to the statement, with the help of the Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of the prayer, Praramod Sharma and his team, the tanker was filled and sent back to Assam, further expanded the spiritual reach of the holy trinity water.
