Apple’s iPhone 17 is expected to come up with iPhone 17 Air (or iPhone 17 Slim), iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max models in September. The company was first tipped to use a scratch-resistant, anti-reflex display coating on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, but recently a report indicates that the joint has been canceled due to scaling problems. Apple’s current Oniphone model has a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.
Citing anonymous sources, maulars Reports The Apple has canceled the scratch-resistant anti-display display coating that it plans to use for the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max model. The iPhone manufacturer has allegedly fled to issues of scaling the display coating process, and is not currently a planned feature for the Oiphone 17 Pro model.
Given the large scale of apple’s production, it was reportedly about to take time to apply an anti-reflex coating on the iPhone display. Although this feature was only for the Pro model, it seems that limited implementation was also not possible this year.
Apple has used a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic (oil distress) coating on its smartphone since the iPhone 11 introduced in 2019.
Weibo Tipster Instant Digital claimed last year that a new display coating for the iPhone 17 series was working. Apple is called a developed tool that can add “super-hired” anti-perpetrators layer to the performance of the iPhone 17 Pro model. This new anti-reflective display layer was tipped to become more scratch-resistant than the company’s ceramic shield technology.
The technique looked similar to the Gorilla Glass Kavach of Corning which began with Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra. The screen has anti-reflex properties. This competitive aluminosilicate cover is claimed to be four times more scratch-resistant than glass.
Apple is expected to take raps from the iPhone 17 series in September. The iPhone 17 Pro series has been tipped to run on the aluminum frame and A19 Pro of Apple. They are asked to pack 12 GB RAM. Standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 is likely to debut with A18 or A19 chip with the support of Slim or Air Model 8GB RAM.
