The iPhone 17 series is likely to be official in September, but a lot of leaks about the next generation iPhone family designs are already pop up on the web. Recently, new renders of dummy units of iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air (or Slim), iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max (or Ultra) have been leaked online, which take a look at their design. Randers show all four iPhone 17 variants together in black and white colors. Vanilla iPhone 17 seems to maintain familiar design, while Pro models bring a fresh camera bar design
The iPhone 17 series dummy units are giving us another look at their design
Tipster Sunny Dixon (@sonnydickson) shared images of alleged dummy units of the entire iPhone 17 lineup on X (East). Randers show iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro show Max in black and white colored options. Apple can plan to leave the design of the standard model unchanged from the iPhone 16, with a vertical camera layout with two sensors.
The iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to replace the iPhone 16 Plus, appears to be a completely new design. It has a thin build, and the camera layout of the phone is different from other models. It is shown with a long pill -shaped camera array that resembles the same on the Google Pixel phone. The horizontally aligned camera island appears in a single sensor in the house.
Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max appear to achieve the most noticeable design changes. They are shown with a long horizontal camera bar instead of the current class design of the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
It is worth noting that the switch on a large camera housing has already surfaced in the previous leaks. The camera corresponds to the shadow covering of the islands. The two pro models appear to be equipped with three rear cameras like their predecessors.
The iPhone 17 series is likely to be unveiled in September this year, if we go from Apple’s previous launch timeline. With a few months to go until the next iPhone model is released, we can estimate more design leaks before the company’s phone is launched.
