Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series, which is expected to include a new iPhone Air, is asked to bring several design changes. Given the piles of leaks, we have seen so far, none of these are expected to be the major redesign, such as iPhone 12 (2020), or even iPhone X (2017). Apple’s iPhone design has actually stabilized over the years, with no major changes from the iPhone 12 to the current iPhone 16 model. However, the new information shows that Apple is planning a major design change for its iPhone 19 series, it is expected to be launched in 2027.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, which has been accurate so far when it comes to Apple leaks, gave a small snipyt of information about the future iPhone model in its weekly. Power on newspaperGurman said that Apple is actually preparing a “major shake-up” for its 20th anniversary iPhone. He said that a foldable version is being worked on, but the new iPhone 19 Pro model would have a design that will “use glass”.

Modern days are quite thick than iPhone models. For example an iPhone 8 Plus (2017) was slimmer at 7.5 mm, the most expensive iPhone 16 Pro Max you can buy today. It measures a thick 8.3 mm, but of course there are more cameras with better ability between other things.
It is not clear whether the widespread use of Apple’s glass will result in an iPhone that appears aggressive as Xiaomi’s Mi Mix Alpha, which lacked the volume button, but had a rap-around display. Or, does it take a more subtle approach with a design that perfectly relieves bezels like an old Samsung Galaxy S9, with an aggressively curved edges to its performance. In fact, the possibilities are infinite with the current-day techniques, which were announced the above equipment, around 2018.
Last time when Apple celebrated his 10 -year anniversary, we got the iPhone X, which was revolutionary in many ways. This introduced a brand-new design language using a round stainless-steel frame, called the “bezel-less” format, which takes back any chunky borders that were back to the regular models. It was the first iPhone to use OLED display and also brought round corners in iOS. Face ID was also revolutionary in many ways and originally laid the foundation of removing the touch ID from the iPhone (as it stands today). The iPhone X also introduced portrait mode, which allowed the field to click on images with software-competent shallow depths.
