The man raped Bihar Kishore as another restraint in Bengaluru, kills brother


Bengaluru:

A 19 -year -old woman from Bihar was sexually assaulted near KR Puram railway station in Bengaluru. Two alleged attackers have been arrested.

The woman was attacked at around 1.30 pm on Wednesday after reaching Bangalore from Ernakulam in Kerala.

Police said she was at home after completing a training program and her brother came to pick her up. Around 1.10 pm, she landed at KR Puram railway station. He and his brother then moved towards a restaurant in Mahadevpura for dinner.

Shivkumar, a senior police officer, said, “He was followed by two persons who assaulted him and raped the woman.”

The attackers overcame their brother, while the other allegedly dragged the woman into the secluded field and assaulted her.

Crying him for help, the locals came to his rescue. The mob succeeded in catching one of the attackers and handed it over to the police.

The official said that the accused are from Mulabagilu and work here as auto drivers.

“One of them raped her. He also attacked her brother. On receiving the complaint, our team responded rapidly. Our cheetah was posted nearby, nearby, reached the scene within 2-3 minutes and one of the accused caught. The second ran away, but was soon arrested,” Shivkumar said.

Police said a case has been registered, and further investigation is on. Men have been accused of rape, forced prevention and kidnapping among other things.
