New Delhi:
The heinous terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam was carried out not only to reduce peace in Jammu and Kashmir and destroy its tourism-based economy, but was also done with a major purpose of exposing communal riots in the country. The Ministry of External Affairs said today, given that the terrorists’ plan was foil due to the government and the people of India.
The Ministry of External Affairs said, “The attack was clearly motivated to reduce the general situation returning to Jammu and Kashmir. In particular, it was designed to influence the main basis of the economy, with tourism, to visit 23 million tourists in the valley last year,” said the Ministry of External Affairs.
The ministry said, “Calculation, possibly, damaged the development and development in the central region would help keep it backward and would help Pakistan to create fertile land for cross -border terrorism.”
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said today, “The way of attack was also motivated to incite communal discord in Jammu, Kashmir and the rest of the nation. It is for credit for the government and the people of India that these designs were thwarted.”
Some eyewitnesses had said that the terrorists had shot men in cold blood in front of their families after confirming their religion. After the attack, resentment spread across the country. Kashmir, where a ponyiwala died while protecting tourists, condemned the attack. “Not in my name,” almost became a slogan in protests held in the Kashmir Valley.
The armed forces came to the ministry’s comments a few hours after operating the “Operation Sindoor” with a missile strike at terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir.
Under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Army and Air Force targeted Markz Taiba of Lashkar-e-Tabiba in Muridke, Jai-e-Mohammed’s Markz Subhan Allah or Jame in Bahalpur and Hizbul Mujahideen’s Mehmoon Joy to Joy and Hizbul Mujahideen’s Ghumoon Joy on the basis of Lashrwoff. Muridke is located a short distance from Lahore, a huge “markz” or base house of Lashkar.
