Already horrific relations between India and Pakistan made a big hit, when terrorists set fire to a famous meadow near the city of Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir, called “Mini Switzerland”, on 22 April and tourists started firing around the restaurants, riding a pony or picnicing. 26 people were killed in the attack. India blamed Pakistan for the attack, an allegation denied by Islamabad.
Operation Cindor, India’s Coutestroke, began on 7 May and hit 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK).
The Lakshya was Lashkar-e-Tabiba (Late), Jaish-e-Mohammed (Gem), and Hizbul Mujahideen, the government said, saying that this focus was on reducing the terrorist infrastructure and not on Pakistani citizens or military establishments.
This was followed by a wave of Pakistani attacks using drones and other monks, which India said that its army was “retaliated”, which “replied” to Islamabad’s aggression.
The Indian aerial attack against terrorist establishments in Pakistan was a ‘hell on fire’ and a new general indication about India’s approach to terrorism, sources said.
India said, “Our actions have been concentrated, measured and non-esklery in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted.”
