The Vivo Y400 is set to launch in Indonesia next week. The Chinese tech brand has started teasing the new Y series smartphone through its website and social media handle, which reveals its design, specifications and color options. The Vivo Y400 50-megapixel will be available in two colors with dual rear camera unit. It will have AMOLED display and 6,000mAh battery. The handset will offer IP68+IP69 rated build against water and dust.
Vivo Y400 will be introduced in Indonesia On 4 August. The company has listed the handset on its official website, which reflects its design and specifications. The listing has two color options – purple dysfunction and tropical green (translated from Indonesian).

Vivo Y400 is listed with 6.67 inches Full with 120Hz refresh rate-HD+ AMOLED display, 100 percent coverage of DCI-P3 color surge, 91.9 percent screen in body ratio and 1,800 nits peak shine. The selfie camera in the flat display is a hole-pant cutout for the house.
For optics, Vivo Y400 has a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main sensor and 2-megapixel bokeh camera. It has a 6,000mAh battery claimed to run for two days on a charge. The battery is advertised to provide 61 hours of music playback time on a charge.
The Vivo Y400 has been confirmed to offer many AI-based features such as AI Transcript Assist, AI notes summary, AI caption, AI document, circle to search, link to Windows and more. The handset will have 7.90 mm thick construction and 196 grams weight. It is claimed to complete the IP68+IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
Vivo has not yet announced global availability for Vivo Y400. However, its 5G version is expected to be launched in India in August, probably almost Rs. 20,000. It is rumored to support a Snapdragon 4 General 2 chipset, 6,000mAh battery, and 90W fast charging.
