Tiger killed 50 -year -old woman in Madhya Pradesh forest

The villagers claimed that when the tiger captured (representation) on it, Daharwal was stopping the tandu strap.

An official on Sunday said an official that a 50 -year -old woman was killed by a tiger in the forest of Soni district of Madhya Pradesh.

Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Gaurav Mishra said that the big cat attacked Hemalata Daharwal in Khwasa forest near Bichhul village on Saturday.

The villagers claimed that Daharwal was doing Tendu Patta when the tiger climbed on it and dragged him from the neck inside the forest and about one and a half kilometers from the spot.

After this incident, the villagers along with the remains of the woman protested about five hours outside the Khawasa forest office, sought a compensation of Rs 25 lakh.

Mishra said that as per the rules, compensation of Rs 8 lakh has been provided, and a discovery is going on to catch the tiger.
