Tim Cook says that Apple has planned to open new retail stores in India and the United Arab Emirates

Apple is ready to expand its retail footprint in India later this year, CEO Tim Cook confirmed the company’s recent earnings call. The move aims to strengthen the position of Apple in one of its fastest growing markets by offering more physical touchpoints to customers to experience its full product lineup. The Cupertino-based company recorded a strong revenue growth in this year’s April-June (Q3) quarter, with the iPhone revenue by nearly 13 percent.

New Apple stores are opening soon in India
