To showcase aspirations of over 22 lakhs, NTA advises students to be vigilant

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that all arrangements are for smooth and safe conduct of NEET UG 2025 examination, which is held on May 4 from 2 pm to 5 pm. The examination will be held in 5,453 centers and 13 international cities across India, with more than 22.7 lakh students to participate.

As per the official update of the agency, mock drills were successfully conducted today at all examination centers to ensure readiness.

The NTA said in its official statement, “All preparations and logical arrangements have been made for conducting safe and safe examinations.”

NTA fake news and cracks on online rumors

In response to an increase in false claims related to NEET UG 2025, the NTA has urged candidates and their parents to ignore unacceptable information and rely only on official communication through NTA website.

The agency has taken strong measures against the spread of wrong information, collaborating with the Cyber ​​Crime Coordination Center (I4C) of the Indian Cyber ​​Crime Coordination Center under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Through the portal of its suspected claims, the NTA has reported several cases, resulting in more than 165 telegram groups and more than 32 Instagram profiles that were found to be promoting fake examination materials or services.

State officials take action on efforts to cheat

Addressing media reports from Rajkot, Gujarat, where individuals allegedly tried to offer the bloated points for money, the Gujarat government has already initiated appropriate legal action. Similarly, the Odisha Police has worked against the fraudsters who tried to cheat students through fake assurance.

The NTA confirmed that state officials across the country have been placed on high warning to prevent any form or prevent misconduct during the examination.

Students advised to be vigilant and follow official instructions

The NTA has emphasized that candidates should not engage with any unauthorized person or middlemen who promise examination assistance or medical entry in exchange for money. Any such efforts will be dealt with under public examinations (prevention of inappropriate means) Act, which gives serious punishment for both students and facilities of dishonest practices.
