Trump says J&K attack was “a bad”; UNSC sends strong messages

Pakistani Hindu refugees living in India are held as fear as there is a time limit for Pakistani citizens to leave after the Pahgam attack.

In a refugee colony in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, NDTV found several families, who entered India through the Vaga-Atari border. “Eklav Bhil Basti” hosted more than a thousand Hindu refugees from Pakistan who have come to India on a short -term visa. But the April 27 deadline for Pakistani citizens has worried them.

Kheto Ram, who lived in Sindh, had left Pakistan due to constant harassment, whatever he had, he was selling everything. He and his family – his wife and two sons – reached India only hours before the Pahalgam attack on Tuesday.

Talking to NDTV, Shri Ram said that the attack had made him fuming. As the tension between India and Pakistan increased, he was disturbed by thinking about returning to “hell like Pakistan”. For him, “Dying in India is acceptable, but is not returning to hell like Pakistan.”

He said that he has appealed to the government and the Prime Minister to consider his matter, stating that his entire family had gone to India after selling everything he did in Pakistan.

Balam, another person from Sindh, among the refugees in Eklav Basti, his wife and young son are not keen to return to Pakistan. Death is better than this, Balam said, while his wife begs, “We had everything left, please don’t send us back.”
