UP man, married in February, killed in Jammu and Kashmir attack

Attack of terror flowing through Jammu and Kashmir Pahalgam On Tuesday, including Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, an unhappy family has been left behind in various cities across the country.

Shubam Dwivedi, a newly married who had gone to Kashmir with his wife for a short holiday, was among the citizens killed in the attack. Shubam was married on February 12, 2025 just two months ago. Sadly, his journey turned into a bad dream.

Talking to Annie, her cousin, Saurabh Dwivedi alleged that Terrorist started firing After asking the names of the individuals and shot in the head.

“Shubam Bhaiya got married on February 12 this year. He was in Pahalgam with his wife. My sister -in -law called my uncle and told him that Shubam was shot in the head. It is also being said that firing has started after asking for the names of individuals … We have received information that the body will be released after completing all the procedures.

In another unfolded name, Dilip Dele, a resident of Panvel, Maharashtra, was also one of the victims of the terrorist attack, who claimed his life.

Condemning the attack, BJP MLA Prashant Thakur said, “The tragic and terrible attack in Jammu and Kashmir should be strongly condemned … Dilip Dele, a resident of New Panvel, died in firing …”

In particular, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Union Minister Nirmala Sitarman cut off their visit to foreign countries in view of a fierce terrorist attack in Pahgam, one of the biggest terrorist attacks after the end of Article 370 in 2019.

PM Modi was on a state visit to Saudi Arabia, while Ms. Sitarman was on an official visit to the US and Peru.

The attack claims the lives of many tourists, including a young Indian Navy officer of Karanal, Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who recently married, Prashant Satpathy, an account officer of Odisha and Shailesh Kadat from Surat.

Prashant was killed in the attack, causing no information about his wife and young son who was traveling with him. He went with his wife and son for a small holiday for Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to reporters, his elder brother, Susanta Satpathy recalled the moment when the family received news of heartbeat.

“We got information around 3 pm … When we called a toll-free number, he informed us about the death of his younger brother. I have no information about my younger brother’s wife or my nephew, where they are. Additional DSP has contacted me … He (Prashant Satpathi) worked as an officer of accounts … Sayant Satpathi, said Elder Brother.

Meanwhile, Shailesh Bhai Himmat Bhai Kadatia, a 44 -year -old, was killed in an attack, while his wife and children survived and are currently safe. He was on a visit to his wife and two children when he was agitated on Tuesday, killing him and injuring several others.

The deputy tehsildar of Sajeed Merujay’s District Emergency Operation Center confirmed the tragic development.

In another sad case, Lieutenant Vinay NarwalA 26 -year -old Indian Navy officer from Haryana, Haryana was also killed in a terrorist attack in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Narwal recently married and was on leave enjoying a small holiday in Kashmir.

Defense officials confirmed that the 26 -year -old officer, who was posted in Kochi, traveled to Kashmir for a short holiday after their marriage on 16 April. His wedding reception was held on 19 April.

Narwal joined the Navy two years ago and was posted in Kochi. His death has sent shockwaves through his family, community and defense establishment. Neighbors and locals have expressed their condolences, many have described Narwal as a young officer with a bright future.

The attack is widely condemned by the local people. Taxi drivers at Pahalgam protested a candle light against the Pahalgam attack. Residents of Jammu and Kashmir marched in a candle light at several places in the state against the Pahalgam terror attack on Tuesday. Local people organized a candle light in Baramulla, Srinagar, Poonch, Akhanur and Kupwara, while Bajrang Dal workers in Jammu protested against the terrorist attack.

Speaking to ANI, Gulzar Ahmed Wani, president of Pahalgam Taxi Association, said, “I condemn the attack. It is not only tourists, but our livelihood, our family. We do not consider them to be on tourists. It is as if our family members have been killed.

The incident, which targeted tourists in Pahalgam region of Anantnag district, expressed widespread resentment across the country. Many political leaders condemned the attack.

According to a statement by the office of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, five tourists from Maharashtra have recently lost their lives in the initiative terrorist attack.

The Deputy CM has requested the Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu to arrange a special flight to vacate tourists stranded from Maharashtra.

Responding to the appeal, the Union Minister assured Shinde that once the list of trapped persons is shared with the Ministry, efforts will be initiated to take him to Mumbai as a priority.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the terrorist attack at the initiative of Jammu and Kashmir and said that the people behind this heinous act would be brought for justice.

In a post on X, PM Modi said that those responsible for this heinous Act will be brought to justice. PM Modi said, “I strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. There is condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured person is recovering as soon as possible.

He said, “People behind this heinous act will be brought to justice … They will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unwavering, and it will be even stronger,” he said.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah presided over a high-level security meeting with all agencies after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Home Minister Shah reached Srinagar on Tuesday evening for a security review meeting. He earlier said that people involved in this brutal act of terror will not be spared.

The Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police have launched a search operation in the general region of Basaran, Pahgam, Anantnag to nab criminals of the attack.

Delhi Police has also been instructed to keep a close watch on tourist places and other important places.
