In CBSE class 12 board exam results Announced today, a total of 1,11,544 candidates scored above 90 percent marks, while 24,867 candidates scored more than 95 percent. In a release, CBSE gave the names of 17 districts according to the percentage. Vijayawada is the best performing district in Andhra Pradesh, in which 99.60 percent of the students clean the important examination here. Trivandrum in Kerala is at number 2, followed by Chennai, Bengaluru and Delhi in West Top 5. The other five districts where pass percentage is above 90, are Delhi East, Chandigarh, Panchkula (Haryana), Pune (Maharashtra) and Ajmer (Rajasthan).

The southern state dominates the list, in which students have performed better in the class 12 board examination.
Prayer was mentioned in the final place in the list of 17 districts released by CBSE. About 80 percent of the students passed the examination in this Uttar Pradesh district.
CBSE further said in its release that it has not ready or declared any merit list to avoid “unhealthy competition” among students. The board also clarified that it does not award its students to the first, second or third divisions.

However, CBSE will release merit list for top 0.1 percent students who have scored the highest marks in subjects.
The examination was conducted at 7,842 centers in India from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and from February 15 to April 4, 2025 at 26 places abroad.
More than 16 lakh students appeared for CBSE class 12 examinations, of which more than 14 lakhs approved it.
