The Vivo V50 was launched in India in February with a Snapdragon 7 General 3 SoC. Now, the company is allegedly preparing to introduce the Vivo V50 Elite version as the newest model in the Vivo V50 series. While the Chinese smartphone brand has not officially confirmed the existence of a new elite version, a new report has revealed its potential launch date. The alleged Vivo V50 Elite version will feature a different design compared to the alleged standard Vivo V50 model. However, Snapdragon 7 Jane 3 processor, 6.77-inch AMOLED display and 50-megapixel dual rear camera units are expected to maintain similar specifications.

91mobiles citing anonymous industry sources Reports The Vivo V50 Elite Edition will debut in India on 15 May. The new elite variants are mainly asked to stand out in terms of design, while maintaining the same hardware and specifications as the standard Vivo V50.
If these claims are accurate, we can expect the Vivo V50 Elite Edition to ship with a 6.77-inch Full-HD+ (1,080 × 2,392 pixels) quad-cresh AMOLED display. Snapdragon 7 General 3SOC, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.
Like the Vivo V50, the upcoming Vivo V50 Elite Edition can pack two 50-megapixel sensors and a 50-megapixel selfie shooter on the rear. The 6,000mAh battery is expected to be packed with 90W wired fast charging support. It may also include a ship with Vivo’s aura light feature and several AI-managed photo editing features.
The V50 series of Vivo in India currently includes base Vivo V50 and Vivo V50E models. The final version will be the third handset to get into the model lineup.
The Vivo V50 was launched in India with an initial price tag of rupee in February. 34,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The price of 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage variants is Rs. 36,999 and Rs. 40,999 respectively.
