Vivo V50 Elite Edition India launch date set for May 15; Round rear camera teased to get module

Vivo is set to unveil the V50 Elite version in India. The company has announced the launch date of the phone and teased its rear camera module. In particular, the current Vivo V50, which was launched in February, has a pill -shaped rear camera island. The upcoming aristocratic version is teased to receive a circular rear camera module. The new version is expected to share most features with the standard version. Meanwhile, a Vivo V50E option was offered in the country in April.

Vivo V50 Elite Edition to launch in India

The Vivo V50 Elite version will be launched in India at 12 noon on 15 May. Confirmed In an X post. In the video simultaneously, the upcoming handset sees “Elite Edition” on the back panel, just below the back camera module. The camera island will probably be rounded, the base vivo V50 will be different from the table -shaped module.

The company has not yet given any further details about the Vivo V50 Elite version. The teaser caption shows that the phone will “come with the sound that surrounds and paint that is fascinated – it is more than just one phone.”

The Vivo V50 Elite Edition is expected to come up with the same features as Vanilla Vivo V50 variants. The phone can get a 6,000mAh battery with a Snapdragon 7 Gan 3SOC, 90W wired fast charging support, a Zeiss-supported 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit and a 50-megapixel selfie shooter.

Vivo V50 has been claimed to complete IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistant ratings. It spies 120Hz refresh with a 6.77-inch Full-HD+ Quad-Kres Amoled display and peak local brightness of 4,500 NITs. Android 15-based Funtouchos 15 supports the handset ship and LPDDR4X RAM up to 12GB of RAM and UFS up to 512GB of onboard storage.

At the time of launch, the price of Vivo V50 is Rs. 34,999, Rs. 36,999 and Rs. 40,999, for 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB variants respectively. The phone comes in daily red, starry blue and titanium gray color options.
