Vivo V60 Snapdragon 7 General 4, Launched with 50-Megapixel Telephoto Camera in India: Price, Facilities

Vivo V60 was launched in India on Tuesday, and the latest smartphone in the company’s midst lineup is supported by a Snapdragon 7 General 4SOC and 6,500mAh battery. It is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter and an 8-megapixel ultravide camera as well as a 50-megapixel sensor in the front. It has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is the successor of Vivo V50, which was introduced in the country in February.

Vivo V60 Price, Availability in India

In India, the price of Vivo V60 starts at Rs. 36,999 for 8GB + 128GB option. The price of 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants is Rs. 38,999 and Rs. 40.999 respectively. Meanwhile, the cost of the top-of-the-line 16GB + 512GB configuration is Rs. 45,999.

The phone is available in auspicious gold, gauze gray and moonlight blue colorvez. Vivo V60 Vivo India will go on sale through e-store, e-commerce sites and select offline retail vendors starting from August 19.

Vivo v60 specifications, features

Vivo V60 Sports 6.77-inch 1.5K (1,080 × 2,392 pixels) quad-crescent amoled display 120Hz refresh rates and 5,000 NITs up to local peak glow level. The handset is powered by a 4Nm octa-core Snapdragon 7 General 4 Soke, up to 16GB with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS up to 512GB with UFS 2.2 onboard storage.

Vivo’s V60 ships with Android 15-based Funtches OS 15, and the phone will receive four-year leading OS upgrade and six-year security updates. It is equipped with many AI features such as AI image expander, AI Smart Call Assistant, AI caption and AI-supported block spam call tool.

In the camera department, Vivo V60 has a Zeiss-supported triple rear camera unit led by 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. It also includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor, paired with a telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel sensor is combined with an ultravide-angle lens. For selfie and video calls, the phone takes a 50-megapixel sensor to the front. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.

Vivo V60 90W packs 6,500mAh battery with wired fast charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The handset has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust resistance. It is equipped with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

The gauze gray version of the Vivo V60 has dimensions of 163.53 × 76.96 × 7.53 mm, and weighs 192G. Auspicious gold and moonlight blue models measure at 7.65 mm and 7.75 mm thickness respectively. The gold option weighs 200 grams, while the blue version weighs 201G.
