Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to be launched later this year. The Chinese tech giant has not given any official information about the alleged handset, but the leaked details have started online surfaceing. Previous reports have suggested a possible screen size and chipset for the upcoming foldable. Now, the rumor Vivo X Fold 5’s battery and charging specifications have been leaked. The leak also claims that the next generation base X fold model may be cheaper than the current Vivo X Fold 3 Pro variants.

The handset is expected to come up with support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. If this is true, the X fold 5 can be the first foldable to pack such a large capacity battery.
Tipster has also mentioned in one of the comments under the original post that the standard Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to be cheaper than the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which was launched in March 2024 for 16GB + 512GB version in CNY 9,999 (about Rs 1,16,000).

The alleged Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to compete in the Chinese market, with OPO Find N5 and anticipated Honor Magic V5. In China, Oppo’s 12GB + 256GB option starts with N5 Find N5 CNY 8,999 (about Rs 1,06,700), while 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants cost CNY 9,999 (about 1,18,600) and CNY 10,999 (SNY 10,9999 (SNY) and CNY 10,99 (Vivo X fold 5 can be priced at this.
Similar to the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, the Vanilla Vivo X Fold 5 can be operated by a Snapdragon 8 General 3 chipset. The upcoming handset is expected to support 16GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to carry an 8.03-inch main foldable 2K+ AMOLED screen and 6.53-inch Ltpo OLED cover display. Both panels have been tipped to support the 120Hz refresh rate.
