In shared images, the foldable appears to be slightly thicker than the iPhone. In particular, the recent leaks have indicated the expected price range and the potentially key features of the anticipated Vivo X Fold 5.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is 8.25 mm thick, whereas, when folded, Vivo X Fold 5 is said to measure 8.7 mm, according to Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@Yabhishekhd). If true, it will be significantly thinner than the 10.2 mm thickness of the Vivo X fold 3. In particular, when manifested, the X fold 5 is tipped to a thickness of 4.3 mm, which is slimmer compared to a 4.65 mm profile of X fold 3.
A recent teaser shared by Boxiao suggested that the Vivo X fold 5 will be much lighter than the standard Vivo X fold 3, weighing 219G. Meanwhile, a leak suggested that the upcoming foldable weight could be 209G.
Earlier, a tipster claimed that the Vivo X fold 5 would be cheaper than the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, which costs CNY 9,999 (about Rs 1,16,000) for the base 16GB + 512 GB configuration. The same tipster suggested that the anticipated handset could pack a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging support.
The Vivo X Fold 5 has been touched to come up with support for Snapdragon 8 gene 3SOC and 16 GB RAM and 512 GB onboard storage. It can sports an 8.03-inner inner foldable 2K+ amoled screen and 6.53-inch Ltpo OLED Outer display. The handset can carry three 50-megapixel rear cameras, including a periscope telephoto shooter, and two 32-megapixel selfie cameras, which are placed on the main and cover display. This will probably be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and three-stage alert slider.
