Vivo X Fold 5 is set to official visit to Vivo’s home country on June 25, and the Chinese tech brand is actively teasing the upcoming foldable online specifications. While the phone’s launch date of the phone has not been formally revealed, a new leak shows that it can happen in the second week of July. Vivo X Fold 5 is confirmed to ship with a 6,000mAh battery with support for both wireless and wireless charging. It will include an 8T Ltpo display and a Zeiss-supported triple rear camera unit.

The Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to compete against the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is likely to be launched on 9 July. Honor will also bring its magic V5 foldable to the Chinese market on 2 July. In particular, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro was unveiled as Vivo’s first foldable smartphone in India in June last year.
Vivo X Fold 5: What do we know so far
Vivo has shared several teasers about Vivo X Fold 5, hoping what to expect. It will have a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless fast charging support. The handset will also support reverse charging. It is confirmed to ship with a zes-tune triple rear camera unit, including a periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. It will use 8t Ltpo panels on both internal and exterior screens.
The book-style foldable official images were posted online, showing relatively thin design and a large spherical camera cutout. The Vivo X fold 5 will be available in Babai (Hare), Qingsong (White), and Titanium (Black) color options.
The Vivo X Fold 5 has been advertised to offer an IPX8 + IPX9 + IPX9 + rated build for water resistance. It will have an IP5X-rated dustproof rating. It is confirmed to weigh around 216G and can measure about 9.2 mm in folded form.
