The Vivo X200 Ultra will be introduced in China on 21 April with Vivo X200S. Just a few days before the formal disclosure, Vivo posted several teasers on Weibo, in which the phone’s camera capabilities have been revealed. Vivo X200 Ultra will use Sony’s Lyt-818 sensor for its primary and ultra wide angle cameras. It will also support a photography kit accessory. Vivo X200 Ultra is confirmed to ship with 2K OLED display and 6,000mAh battery. It will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset.
Chinese smartphone is brand Dropped The new teaser on Weibo gives details of Vivo X200 Ultra’s camera unit. The upcoming handset will have a zes-branded camera setup consisting of 14 mm ultra wide angle sensor, a 35mm primary camera and an 85 mm zes apo lens. 14 mm ultra-wide angle sensor and 35 mm main camera use the same 1/1.28-inch Sony Lyt-818 sensor. The cameras will also have optical image stabilization (OIS) support.
The 85 mm telephoto sensor of the Vivo X200 Ultra is said to be 38 percent more lighter than the one found on the Vivo X100 Ultra. With the camera unit, Vivo V3+ and VS1 imaging chips, it is said to give impressive performance. Dedicated Vs1 AI image signal processor (ISP) is claimed to provide 80 (trillion operations per second) of computing power.
Vivo has posted several camera samples on the microblogging platform, which displays the progression of the camera of each sensor. The phone is capable of recording 4K videos on 120fps and 4K 60fps with 10-bit logs. It has DCG HDR, and the camera unit provides several AI-based features. The handset will ship with an alternative photography kit.

The Vivo X200 Ultra has already been teased to claim 2k OLED ZEISS branded display with armor glass protection. It will pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 40W wireless and 90W wired charging. The phone thickness will measure 8.69 mm and includes an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor for biometrics. Snapdragon 8 Elite processor is confirmed.
The Vivo X200 Ultra is scheduled to be launched in China on local time (IST) at 7 pm on 21 April. It will be unveiled with Vivo X200s, Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Vivo Pad SE, and Vivo Watch 5.
