The Vivo X200 Ultra, which is scheduled to be launched on April 21 in China, is teased to support a photography kit accessory. Prior to the launch, a senior company official has now teased an alternative outer lens for the kit. The outer lens is co-engineer with Zes, and the smartphone’s “fourth lens” is postponed. The previous teaser has suggested that the X200 Ultra will come with a zes-supported triple rear camera unit including a telephoto shooter. The external telephoto lens is asked to increase the zoom range and improve image quality.

Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao Confirmed In another post that external lens will use a 200-megapixel telephoto sensor. Vivo co-engineer with Zes, he said, called it the “fourth lens” of the X200 Ultra.
Boxiao says that the outer lens will offer up to 8.7x optical zoom with f/2.4 aperture. It uses 13 high-transmittance glass lenses, arranged in three optical groups in a cape structure, or a telescope-style layout, he said. This arrangement allows it to pack long focal lengths in compact design.
It is claimed to correct the inbuilt zoom capabilities of Vivo X200 Ultra by 2.35x. With the outer lens, the Vivo X200 Ultra is also claimed to offer clear and wide images at 35X or 70x digital zoom levels. 70x images with outer lens are claimed to be clear as 30x images without lens. The previous teaser shows that the phone will take an 85 mm APO telephoto lens. 14 mm with ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 35 mm with “humanistic documentary lens”.
The Vivo X200 Ultra Photography Kit will come with a bracket design, a dedicated video button, a 2,300mAh battery and USB Type-C connectivity support. On the other hand, the handset will sports a dedicated camera button and will be equipped with Vivo V3+ and Vs1 imaging chipset for increased image processing.
Vivo X200 Ultra will come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC, 2K display with eye security features, armor glass protection and an in-display with ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. This will support both bypasses with wireless as well as charging.
