Vivo X200 Ultra is set to launch in China with Vivo X200S on 21 April. They are expected to join standard Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini, which was unveiled in the country in October 2024. A senior executive of the company has confirmed several major details about the Vivo X200 Ultra handset before its upcoming launch. The color options of the smartphone have also been revealed. The previous teaser has suggested that the X200 Ultra will have a dedicated camera button.

Vivo X200 Ultra will be introduced in black, red and silver colorvez, Vivo Product Vice President Huang Tao revealed In a veebo post. He confirmed that the phone would be operated by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC and wireless charging and charging support would be packed “large” battery with bypass. The anterior Vivo X100 packs 5,500mAh battery with the support for Ultra 80W wired and 30W wireless charging.
Tao said that Vivo X200 would take an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for ultra security, which can also be used with wet hands to unlock the phone in seconds. The handset will sport 2K display with Zeiss Master Color, “Circular Polarized Eye Protection Technology” with “Circular Polarized Eye Protection Technology”.
Talking about the camera, Tao claimed that Vivo X200 Ultra, internally called “V-Camera”, is a “pocket smart camera that can call.” Handset’s Zeiss-supported OIS-supported rear camera module includes 85 mm APO Telefoto Lens, a 14 mm Ultra-Wide-Angle lens and a 35 mm “humanistic documentary lens”.
The Vivo X200 Ultra’s rear camera will support full-focus 4K video recording on 60fps, with 10-bit logs and cinematic 4K slow motion video recording at 120fps. A dedicated, new physical camera control key was first confirmed. Tao said that the phone would have an adaptable zoom flash system for photography like DSLR. He teased a fourth camera sensor but it has not yet appeared. The handset will also be equipped with Vivo V3+ and VS1 imaging chipset.
