Vivo started the X Fold 3 in March last year, and the brand now appears to be preparing its successor. Unlike expectations, the next model will be reportedly called Vivo X Fold 5. According to a report, the company can leave the Vivo X fold 4 monicor due to tetrapobia – the cultural avoidance of number four. Like the existing model, the alleged Vivo X Fold 5 has been extended to facilitate an 8.03 -inch internal screen. It is said to run on Snapdragon 8 General 3 chipset and carry a 6,000mAh battery.

The leaked phone suggests 2K+ resolution and internal 8.03-inch foldable amoled screen with 120Hz refresh rate. On the outside, the phone is asked to facilitate 6.53-inch Ltpo OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate,
The Vivo X Fold 5 is called Snapdragon 8 General 3 chipset operated with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. For reference, last year’s Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has the same chipset, while the Vivo X Fold 3 Snapdragon 8 General 2 runs on 2 sockes.
For optics, Vivo X Fold 5 claims a triple rear camera unit consisting of 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with autofocus and 50-megapixel Sony IMX82 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. It has been tipped to include two 32-megapixel sensors on the internal and external screen for selfie and video chats.
Rumor Vivo X Fold 5 will allegedly feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and three-phase alert slider. This may offer some AI-powered features and an IP rating, although the exact rating is unknown at this time.
The Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to have a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. This can give it a position in the form of foldable phones with currently available highest battery capacity. Vivo has packed 5,500mAh battery on X fold 3 with the support of 80W wired charging. The Vivo X fold 5 can measure 4.3 mm in unfolded form and on turning 9.33 mm.
