Gorakhpur:
An official said a 28 -year -old woman allegedly died of suicide, while on a video call with her husband, who is currently working in Saudi Arabia.
The incident took place at Piprauli at around 10:30 pm on Friday night at 10:30 pm, which took place in an area of Gida police station.
A woman, known as Khushi, a native of Siwan, Bihar, married Nadeem Ansari in Purana Gola in Bansgaon four years ago. Due to their inter-confidence association, the couple were living in a rented house in Piprauli.
“Madem, who is working in Madina, Saudi Arabia, recently visited the house, but left again on 9 May. On Friday night, after keeping his son Asif on bed, Khushi started a video call with Nadeem. A argument was reportedly made between them, and the call disconnected at 10:59 pm.”
Nadeem immediately approached a neighbor, who reached Khushi’s residence. An official said the door was closed, the neighbor looked through a window and discovered Khushi hanging from a hook in the roof.
The police were informed, who then opened the door and recovered his body.
The couple’s small child was sleeping with his mother during the entire incident.
The circle officer said, “The body has been sent for the post -mortem examination. A detailed investigation is currently going on under the circumstances leading to Khushi’s death.”
