Xiaomi 16 is expected to be official as the successor of last year’s Xiaomi 15 in the last quarter of this year. Maijinbu official shared a alleged Cad render of undeclared Xiaomi 16Design-wise, the new phone look has some similarity with Xiaomi 15. It has arranged a square camera module in the upper left corner of a hole-pan-pan-a-pan display and the back panel. The camera island is seen with three sensors, an LED flash and leika branding. Volume rockers and power button are placed on the left spine of the phone.
The alleged render indicates a dual tone design for Xiaomi 16. It has a little round edges and narrow bezels on all sides. The USB Type-C port, speaker and SIM tray are said to be located on the bottom line.
Xiaomi 16 is said to launch in China in September with Xiaomi 16 Pro. The phone is believed to be the first person to ship with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset of Qualcomm. Qualcomm is expected to unveil the flagship chipset at the Snapdragon Summit in September this year.
The Xiaomi 16 is rumored to be a compact form factor with a 6.32 -inch flat display. It has been tipped to run on Hyperos 3 interface based on Android 16. It may have a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup.
According to the previous leak, Xiaomi 16 will have a battery capacity of about 7,000mAh. Xiaomi 16 and Xiaomi 16 Pro have Xiaomi rumors to use the latest silicon-carbon (SI/C) technology.
