A tipster has now leaked the upcoming foldable handset’s launch timeline. Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip from Qualcomm. The successor of Xiaomi Mix Flip is also given a 6.85-inch internal performance and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. This is expected to offer support for 67W wired charging.

The brand is said to unveil other devices such as the Redmi K80 Extreme Edition and a new Redmi Gaming Tablet around the same time. Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is expected to debut in a separate event instead of arriving with the upcoming Redmi handset.

It is said to pack a dual rear camera including a 50-megapixel 1/1.5-inch primary sensor and 50-megapixel 1/2.76-inch ultra-wide shooter. It can pack a 5,100mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 was recently seen on the 3C site with model number 2505APX7BC. Listing showed that it provides 67W wired charging speed. This is asked to sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for certification. It may have an IPX8-rated build for dust resistance. It can measure 7.6 mm in thickness and can weigh about 190 grams.
Last year, the company launched Xiaomi Mix Flip, with a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option in China with CNY 5,999 (about Rs 69,000) price tag. It was introduced in selected global markets in September 2024.
The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 8 General 3 3 chipset and is supported by a 4,780mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging. It has a 4.01 -inch cover display and an internal screen of 6.86 inch. It has a Leica-supported dual rear camera unit.
