YouTuber gets a force of Rs 13 crore, murder threatened, 1 arrested


New Delhi:

Police said on Friday that a 25 -year -old man has been arrested for demanding a forced recovery of Rs 13 crore from YouTuber in Delhi.

A senior police officer said that the 24 -year -old complainant, who runs a YouTube channel, told the police that on 9 April he received several calls from an unknown number when he was in Sector -1 of Bawana, a senior police officer said.

The caller was later identified as Vishal alias Katia, allegedly threatened to kill him, if the demand for forced recovery was not met, Utubar claimed to have a complaint.

Police said that the accused claimed to know about a property heritage received by YouTuber’s wife, and especially mentioned its share of land, allegedly worth several crores of rupees.

In the fifth call, the caller became aggressive and threatened the complainant with serious consequences that if he did not pay Rs 13 crore, he said.

Subsequently, a case was registered at Bawana police station and Vishal was detected and arrested within 24 hours near Nirmal Vatika in Bawana.

Vishal, a resident of Bawana, was earlier involved in a criminal case, said that the mobile phone used to make forcibly recovery calls was recovered from his possession.
